Statistical Perspectives on Data Mining
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The file rintro.tar has an introduction to the R system (r-notes.pdf), 
three sets of laboratory exercises (r-tutorials.pdf), and a set of
overheads.  See the README.txt file in the rintro subdirectory for 
further details.

The file statminers.tar has 10 sets of laboratory exercises
(statminers-labs.pdf), a set of lecture notes (statnotes.pdf),
a set of overheads (ohp-overview.pdf), and files from which
these pdf files have been generated.  See README.txt in the 
statminers subdirectory for further details. In the subdirectory 
statminers/labs there are files that break statminers-labs.pdf
down by topic.
