On kernel density estimation under Koziol Green model of censorship

Prakash Patil

Abstract: The main difference between the Koziol-Green model of random censorship and the general random censorship model is that the censoring variable in the latter is non-informative whereas the former contains information on distribution of the variable that it censors. This feature, in the recent work on the topic, has been used to modify the usual kernel density estimator under random censorship model. Here we provide an asymptotic formula for mean squared error (MSE) of such modified estimator.
