Nonhomogeneous Susceptibles and Infectives among Needle Sharing IVDUs
J. Gani
Abstract:
This paper extends some earlier random allocation models where
either susceptibles or infectives, but not both, among needle sharing
IVDUs are nonhomogeneous. We begin with a brief review of earlier results,
illustrated by an example of vaccination. We then consider the case where
there are two types of susceptibles and two types of infectives. This
leads to unwieldy algebra; a model with successive waves of infectives
exchanging needles with two types of susceptibles is outlined.
