Events in the Mathematical Sciences Institute

CMA Symposia, Conferences and Workshops

The Mathematical Sciences Institute has an active research program, and supports either directly or indirectly many conferences, symposia and workshops.

In particular, the Centre for Mathematics and its Applications sponsors a series of National Research Symposia in the Mathematical Sciences, each one to last one week. The meetings are typically organised around visits to Australia of international leaders in mathematics and statistics, these visits being funded by other sources. Proposals will be assessed by the CMA National Research Symposia Committee.

The MSI also has regular weekly seminars which are listed on a separate page, and the Department of Mathematics has started regular Monday Maths Sessions - details of the next can be found on the Department web page.
