Incorporating the Biennial Meeting of the International Biometrics Society 4 - 5 December, 2003

BioInfoSummer is aimed at a number of different groups, from students and academics moving into bioinformatics to experienced bioinformaticians. Accordingly it will feature the following:

  • Introductory Lectures on Biology and Bioinformatics
  • Keynote Speakers in Sequence Analysis, Protein Structure, Evolutionary Models & Microarrays
  • Specialist talks on all areas of bioinformatics

Travel scholarships

Travel scholarships are available for Honours and PhD students not currently residing in the ACT, thanks to AMSI, CBiS, NIB and Ceanet.

Special Offer - Graduate Course Award

Symposium participants(*) have also been invited to register for an ANU Graduate Course Award. Registration for the course has now closed.

(*) Participants from the Mathematics Departments of AMSI Institutions must consult with their Head of Department before registering for the Course Award.

Student Prizes

The National Institute of Bioscience is pleased to announce NIB Prizes for best student and postdoctoral talks.
